Race of Remembrance 2026

Terms & Conditions

These Terms apply to sponsorships made through Legacy Lap for the Race of Remembrance 2026 campaign.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

1. About Legacy Lap

Legacy Lap is a campaign platform through which supporters can sponsor available plots, sections, corners and other track features connected with Race of Remembrance 2026. The campaign supports Mission Motorsport and is intended to provide a respectful way to remember, honour or support people and causes connected with the campaign.

These Terms apply to this Race of Remembrance 2026 Legacy Lap campaign only. A future campaign, event or website may have different terms and is separate unless it expressly says otherwise.

2. Sponsorship opportunities and availability

Displayed sponsorship opportunities are subject to availability. An item shown as AVAILABLE may become unavailable before payment is completed. A pending or reserved state means that the item is temporarily unavailable while a sponsorship attempt is being processed. A sponsored or sold state means that the opportunity is no longer available for another sponsorship.

We may correct an inaccurate availability display, decline a sponsorship attempt where an item has already been claimed, and withdraw or reserve opportunities where reasonably necessary for campaign administration, security or technical reasons.

3. Payment and confirmation

A sponsorship is not confirmed until a successful payment has been recorded through the applicable payment process. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe's own terms and privacy information apply to its payment services.

If a payment cannot be completed, expires, is cancelled, is rejected, or a technical/payment error occurs, the sponsorship may not be confirmed and the related opportunity may be released. Please do not assume that an on-screen selection alone secures an opportunity.

4. Dedications, messages and public recognition

You are responsible for ensuring that any sponsor name, dedication, message or information about another person that you submit is accurate, respectful and lawful, and that you have permission to provide it. Do not submit content that is abusive, unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, infringing, or inappropriate for a remembrance campaign.

We may moderate, refuse, remove, hide or amend the public presentation of content where reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, maintain the integrity of the campaign or address a mistake. Moderation of public content does not itself change a valid sponsorship or payment.

The Legacy Roll may show sponsorship information only where the relevant public-display choices and moderation requirements are met. A personal message remains private unless you choose the separate option to publish it. Public display may be withdrawn or corrected through the applicable support process.

5. eCertificates, links and QR codes

An eCertificate may be made available for an eligible, successfully paid sponsorship. eCertificates, QR codes and official Legacy Lap links are provided for campaign and personal-remembrance use. QR destinations and links should be accessed only from official Legacy Lap communications or the Legacy Lap website.

We may correct a certificate or its supporting data when a verified mistake is identified. The Correct a Mistake route is for genuine correction requests; it is not a method for creating a new sponsorship, altering payment details or bypassing availability.

6. Refunds

Refund requests should be raised with support. Mission Motorsport is responsible for the campaign's financial and refund matters; Mark does not personally receive sponsorship funds. Mission Motorsport handles and authorises financial refunds.

Legacy Lap's role is technical: it records refund intent and updates the platform only after authenticated Stripe confirmation. Stripe confirmation is the source of truth for whether a refund has been completed. A full, confirmed and safely reconciled refund may release the relevant sponsorship opportunity for future availability.

Partial refunds, duplicate or incorrect transactions, payment mismatches, and inconsistent technical records require review and may be held for technical attention. Recording a request does not itself make a financial refund or release an item.

7. Service availability and security

We aim to keep Legacy Lap available and accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, pause, secure, maintain or close parts of the platform where reasonably necessary. You must not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, introduce harmful code, scrape protected information, or use the service in a way that could harm people or the campaign.

8. Intellectual property

Mission Motorsport retains ownership of its name, branding, logos, Race of Remembrance materials and other Mission Motorsport intellectual property. Legacy Lap software, platform, source code, system design and original Legacy Lap materials remain the intellectual property of their respective Legacy Lap creator or rights holder.

Use of Legacy Lap for Race of Remembrance 2026 does not transfer ownership of Legacy Lap to Mission Motorsport. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute or exploit campaign materials except as permitted by law or with the relevant rights holder's permission.

9. Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, for third-party services outside our reasonable control, or for issues caused by inaccurate information supplied by you, your device, connection or misuse of the platform.

10. Closure, changes and law

The campaign may close when opportunities are no longer available or for operational, legal, security or event reasons. We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the campaign, platform, law or services. The version published when you use the service applies to that use.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you.

11. Contact and support
