Race of Remembrance 2026

Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by Legacy Lap for Race of Remembrance 2026.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of information placed on a device by a website. Some are needed for core functionality and security; others can support preferences, analytics or advertising. This policy also describes closely related browser storage used by the application.

2. Strictly necessary security and session cookies

Where the public access gate is enabled, Legacy Lap uses an HTTP-only, secure, same-site access-session cookie named legacy_lap_access. It confirms that an authorised visitor has passed the access gate and has a maximum lifetime of eight hours.

Named administrative access uses a separate HTTP-only, secure, same-site cookie named __Host-legacy-lap-admin. It is only relevant to ACC administration, not ordinary public sponsorship browsing. These cookies are strictly necessary for the relevant security/session functions and are not advertising cookies.

3. Browser storage used by Legacy Lap

The public experience may use session storage for same-tab behaviour, including a recently sponsored-item marker and map-introduction state. Development/positioning tools may use local storage for visual map or hero-layer preferences. This storage is used for interface behaviour, not to create advertising profiles.

4. Payments and third parties

When you choose to pay, Stripe provides payment-related technology and may set or read its own cookies or similar technologies according to Stripe's policies. Legacy Lap does not store complete payment-card details. Other service providers may process technical information as part of hosting, email, domain or operational services.

5. Analytics, advertising and tracking

Repository inspection found no implemented Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, remarketing service, behavioural analytics SDK or similar tracking script in Legacy Lap. We do not claim to use those technologies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent mechanism must be updated before the technology is enabled.

6. Your choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent protected access or other parts of the service from working. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings; doing so may reset interface preferences or same-tab state.

If a future optional cookie, analytics or advertising technology requires consent, it should not be enabled until the relevant cookie list, purpose, provider, duration and user choice are made available.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy if Legacy Lap's technologies change. For questions about cookies or this policy, contact support@legacylap.co.uk.
